Joesph Bianco, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1990 from Texas Tech University. He has over 25 years of experience in all facets of architectural design including building assessments, master planning, programming, building code analysis, cost estimating, production of construction documents, and construction contract administration. Licensed to practice Architecture in the states of Texas and Kansas, Joe’s diverse range of experience has taken him to various states across the country including California, New Mexico, New York, Connecticut and Texas working on a variety of project types including commercial, medical, high-end residential and educational buildings.
Joe’s career began in San Francisco, California where he worked as an architectural model maker before relocating to San Antonio via New Mexico, gaining experience working for several architectural and engineering firms along the way. In the last 12 years Joe has been a partner in charge of design at his own small, ten-person firm in San Antonio. Despite the relatively small size of their firm, he was responsible for the management of several large design projects including the renovation of four historic buildings at Brooks City-Base, San Antonio into a new school of medicine for a local University. Other significant projects included a three-phase addition and the renovation of a collegiate Music school
and Fine Arts complex; planning and design of Division I athletic facilities; and several additions/renovations to local public schools.
